Commentary
Advertisement (hikifuda 引札) for "Gozōen" 五臓円, a tonic medicine to treat hot flashes, from a firm called "Ōkigōtetsu" 大木口哲 in Edo Yonezawachō (now part of Higashi-Nihonbashi) out of a shop called "Hakukaen". The drug maker still exists, now called Ohki Pharmaceutical Co. (Ōki Seiyaku 大木製薬).
